Overview

For the first time in a UK park, The Royal Parks Foundation is bringing 11-16 year olds a brand new personal timing chip system, helping you to track your training times whilst running (or walking) in Regent’s Park.

About Chips in the Park

Running and fitness is the foundation of all sports and is guaranteed to make you and your friends feel trimmer and healthier – why not give it a go?!

Based at The Hub in Regent’s Park we invite you to come down and be coached by our expert England Athletics coaches to give you the edge not only in your running but any sport that you currently take part in or would like to give a go in the future!

These sessions take place twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday for 11-16 year olds. Come down and push yourself to the limit or simply learn how to improve your fitness and enjoy Regent’s Park!

Through the ChampionChip website – http://www.mychampionchip.com/login.jsf – you can create groups, challenge your friends, monitor your training and your personal improvement as you increase your speed, fitness and start to shave the seconds and minutes off your times!

We will supply you with your own chip that you can use any time you want to clock yourself around the specially designed routes within Regent’s Park and around The Hub.

What do you get?!

A personal timing chip worth £20 for you to keep and use in Regent’s Park at any time.

Your chip training times recorded on a dedicated website for you to check your progress and targets alone or with your friends.

Twice-weekly fitness sessions in Regent’s Park, led by professional coaches offering technical running advice and games. Open to all levels of fitness from complete couch potatoes to extreme athletes.

A free training diary to help keep you motivated and track your progress.
